Newer antihyperglycaemic agents, such as glucagon-like-peptide 1 receptor agonists (GLP1-RAs) and sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT-2is), improve hyperglycaemia, reduce IR, and produce significant weight loss, presenting an attractive strategy capable of addressing the metabolic defects of PCOS.
