Excluding the TP53 R337H variant, it becomes clear that the prevalence of other mutations in TP53 is low in the Brazilian BC patients, approximately 0.7% in the present study, in accordance with other four Brazilian studies that analyzed the entire coding region of TP53 (Table 4), following the same pattern as the worldwide prevalence24,40,46–48. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and breast cancer.
