Mechanistically, circZNF652 sponged miR-486-5p to upregulate SERPINE1, resulting in the aggressiveness of GBM, which provided evidences to support that the novel circZNF652/miR-486-5p/SERPINE1 signaling cascade could be potentially used as diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for GBM.
