There seems to be a trend (not statistically significant) that patients treated with G-CSF prophylaxis had a higher risk of severe infections: HR 1.90 (95% CI 0.91–3.98; p = 0.090), but it has to be considered that the proportion of patients with G-CSF prophylaxis is relatively low (9.2% n = 55) and only 50.9% (n = 28) of them were treated with a primary G-CSF prophylaxis. Here, CSF3 is linked to infection.
