This study implemented comparative transcriptome analyses of the P. pyrifolia leaves infected by C. fructicola, revealing that multiple biological processes were stimulated in P. pyrifolia in response to the infection of two C. fructicola pathogenetic strains (Figures 9A,B), such as the activation of PTI and ETI, plant hormones, and metabolism of flavonoids and phenylpropane. Here, SERPINB6 is linked to infection.
