In another study on tumor samples of 40 patients (age: 43–73) and 4T1 tumor-bearing mice, it is reported that IL-22, another important cytokine produced by Th17 cells, increased the rate of angiogenesis, proliferation, and tumorigenesis by inducing the expression of Pin1 and MAP3K8, which is directly correlated to the BC progression, as investigated by immunohistochemical staining, western blot, and CAM assay. This evidence concerns the gene MAP3K8 and breast cancer.
