In the EMBRACA phase III trial that evaluated breast cancer patients with HER2 negative and germline BRCA1/2 mutations (NCT01945775), patients with talazoparib showed statistically overall improvements and significant delay in time to definitive clinically meaningful deterioration compared with those received chemotherapy (PFS: 8.6 vs. 5.6 months; hazard ratio = 0.54) [96]. This evidence concerns the gene BRCA1 and breast carcinoma.
