DDX1 and retinoblastoma: DDX1 was first found in human neuroblastoma and retinoblastoma cell lines in 1998 (Godbout et al., 1998) and it was reported in cervical carcinoma cells in 2001, its’ location pattern in the nucleus of HeLa, this study also found that DDX1 was involved in the 3-end cleavage and polyadenylation of pre-mRNAs (Bléoo et al., 2001).
