The results showed that low-expressed SRD5A2 [HR = 0.59 (0.41–0.83), P = 0.0026], EPHX2 [HR = 0.51 (0.36–0.73), P = 0.00013], ADH1C [HR = 0.46 (0.3–0.7), P = 0.00018], and ADH1A [HR = 0.52 (0.36–0.74), P = 0.00028] and high-expressed CDK1 were all related to a poor prognosis in HCC patients. This evidence concerns the gene EPHX2 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
