Our cluster analysis of the TCGA breast cancer dataset established that there were three different groups—one with low HSP27 and high CRYAB expression (cluster 3), another with reduced CRYAB expression, but maintained HSP27 expression (cluster 2) and the largest that had unchanged HSP27 and CRYAB relative expression levels (cluster 1, Fig. 2, B). The gene discussed is CRYAB; the disease is breast carcinoma.
