Sachin Kumar et al. found that hsa-miR-25-3p was significantly down-regulated in the serum of patients with non-small cell lung cancer, and the expression was significantly correlated with the stage of cancer (Kumar et al., 2020). He et al. found that hsa-miR-16 can inhibit the proliferation of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells by inhibiting the activation of PI3K/AKT and MAPK signaling pathways (He and Huang, 2017).
