CD4 and COVID-19: Taken together with a recent study that reported a lack of association between nadir CD4+ T-cell count and antibody response after two doses of BNT162b238, this indicates that, for PLWH currently receiving suppressive antiretroviral therapy and whose CD4+ T-cell counts are currently in a healthy range, having had low CD4 T+ cell counts in the past will not necessarily compromise immune responses to COVID-19 vaccines presently.
