There was a significant increase (p<0.001) in the levels of IFN-γ, IL-2, granzyme B, and CD107a in CD8+ T cells (figure 4C–D), indicating that inhibition of PD-L1 secretion from tumor cells contributed to CD8+ T cell activation and could help restore CD8+ T cell proliferation.
