Among 33 cancer types of TCGA database, GBP1 showed lower expression levels in tumor samples of kidney chromophobe (KICH) (p < 0.001), kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP) (p < 0.001), liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC) (p < 0.001), LUAD (p < 0.001), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) (p < 0.001), prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD) (p < 0.001), thyroid carcinoma (THCA) (p < 0.001), uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC) (p < 0.001), and pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD) (p < 0.05) compared with corresponding normal controls. This evidence concerns the gene GBP1 and prostate adenocarcinoma.
