CP and Wilson disease: In our study, 30 cases were diagnosed with an elevated ALT level as the first symptom, together with a decreased CP level, an increased 24-h urinary copper level, and ATP7B mutations, suggesting that these three parameters (namely, elevated ALT, decreased CP level, and increased 24-h urinary copper level) are closely related to the early diagnosis of WD in about 5-year-old children in southern China.
