KCNB1 (Kv2.1), a major voltage-gated potassium channel (Kv), is recognized to be the new prognostic factor to predict the survival for some cancers, including glioma, and it plays a tumor-suppressing role via inducing autophagy (Wang et al., 2016; Wang et al., 2017).
