Consistent with the molecular findings in vitro, western blotting analysis showed that treatment with roburic acid inhibited the phosphorylation of p65, promoted the cleavage of Caspase3, and suppressed the protein expression of Bcl-xL, XIAP, and Cyclin D1 in the xenografted colorectal tumor tissues (Figure 7H). This evidence concerns the gene BCL2L1 and colorectal neoplasm.
