What is more, when extracellular vesicles encapsulated with miR-26b mimics were injected intravenously into mice for 6 weeks, we found that extracellular vesicles could promote CC cells apoptosis via communicating with CC cells (transferring containing miR-26b into CC cells) and subsequently targeting JAG1 expression, which results in disrupted ovarian dysfunction associated with PCOS. This evidence concerns the gene JAG1 and polycystic ovary syndrome.
