SNAI2 and cancer: The critical role of SNAI2 in regulating cancer occurrence and metastasis, as well as modulating chemotherapy sensitivity, has been uncovered in multiple cancer diseases, including breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and ovarian cancer, via inducing epithelial-mesenchymal transition or other pathways [15,34,35], but whether SNAI2 is involved in or regulates ferroptosis in cancer is poorly understood.
