Longitudinally-collected and cryopreserved PBMCs from a patient with high grade serous ovarian cancer during a 21-month period of her clinical care were studied using an instrument that combines fluorescent and darkfield microscopy to quantify the amount of MUC16 binding to T cells, B cells, NK cells, NK-T cells, and monocytes. The gene discussed is MUC16; the disease is ovarian serous adenocarcinoma.
