ZC3H4, a novel member of the zinc finger protein family, has been shown to play a key role in anoikis resistance in fibroblasts, since a recent study suggested a role for zinc finger proteins in anoikis under different conditions [33, 34]; for example, ZNF32 and ZNF304 promoted abnormal tissue repair and mitigated tumor cell metastasis via anoikis resistance. The gene discussed is ZC3H4; the disease is neoplasm.
