For linear regression models measuring TyG index as a continuous variable, each one-unit increment in TyG index was associated with a 37.1 cm/s increase (95% CI, 23.7–50.6 cm/s; P < 0.05) in baPWV, after adjustment for age, sex, smoking, alcohol drinking, regular activity, BMI, hs-CRP, SBP, and diabetes status (Table 2). Here, CRP is linked to diabetes mellitus.
