FBXL3 and cancer: Additionally, some of the FBXL3-CRY1/2 recruited proteins, such as c-MYC [36] and TLK2 [35], are involved in cell cycle regulation, providing another explanation for the observed circadian clock-gating of cell cycle, and justifying follow-up of the very few FBXL3 LOF patients for cell cycle-related diseases such as cancers.
