In the Epstein–Barr virus (EBV), positive Burkitt’s lymphoma cell lines, latent viral episomes contact cellular genomic regions enriched for binding sites for the viral protein EBNA1 and for B-cell factors EBF1 and RBP-jk, suggesting that both EBNA1 and cellular factors may contribute to EBV genome docking [87].
