In more detail, infection with the wild type high virulent NNV isolate presented an induction of immune genes related to: (a) PRRs (DHX58), (b) mediators of IFN-I expression pathway (IRF3, IRF7), and (c) IFN-stimulated genes, apoptosis, and antigen presentation (ISG15, Mx, PKR, GIG1, ISG12, IFI44, IFIT-1, STAT1, HERC5, NUP133, TRIM21, MACPF, u-PAR, PARP14, EPSTI1, RNF213, HERC4 and MHC class II genes). This evidence concerns the gene IFNA1 and infection.
