IL10 and neoplasm: TAMs are in favor of GBM tumorigenesis because they do not support cytotoxic T cell activation and even inhibit their proliferation, as they secrete anti-inflammatory cytokines (e.g., IL-10 and TGF-β) and growth factors (e.g., EGF), thus promoting development and angiogenesis of the tumor [5,69,71,72].
