Interestingly, when we measured the humoral autoantigen levels, including those of anti-SSA, anti-SSB, and ANA, in NOD/Ltj mice, we found that at 12 weeks old (approximately 4 weeks after BPTES injection), BPTES failed to downregulate the levels of autoantigens related to SS development, whereas the serum levels of ANA were downregulated. This evidence concerns the gene SSB and synovial sarcoma.
