In conclusion, five proteomic biomarkers, including two related to the TNF pathway, were identified in a cohort of patients with stable CAD, as independent risk factors for the occurrence of a first MACE: TNFRSF13B, CCL3, DCN, FGF-23, and TNFRSF10A.
