NR2C2 and infection: Interestingly, the Foc isolates that are phylogenetically situated within the F.odoratissimum species lineage (linked to Foc-TR4 infections; Maryani et al. 2019a) account for only 10% of the Fusarium wilt in northern Viet Nam, demonstrating that Foc-TR4 has not yet become a dominant banana pathogen, unlike other countries in Asia where there is a tendency to grow Cavendish cultivars as large monocultures, such as in China, the Philippines, and Taiwan.
