Compared with the asthma group without treatment, 18β-GA treatment groups had significantly lower levels of ROS and MDA (p = 0.000 and p = 0.000, respectively), and higher levels of T-AOC, SOD, CAT, and GSH-Px (p = 0.006, p = 0.008, p = 0.024 and p = 0.031, respectively), protecting the lungs from oxidative damage (Fig. 6).
