An aqueous extract of C. militaris significantly reduced the serum levels of MCP-1, ICAM-1, VCAM-1, and NF-κB p65 compared with disease model rats, and total cholesterol, serum creatinine, triglyceride, blood urea nitrogen and urine protein in a cationic bovine serum albumin-induced membranous glomerulonephritis rat model. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and membranous glomerulonephritis.
