CRP and acute cholangitis: Although all three markers were predictive for severe acute cholangitis (p < 0.001 for all), the AUC of the NLR in predicting severe acute cholangitis was 0.87 (95% CI, 0.82–0.92), which was higher than that of the WBC count (0.73 (95% CI, 0.6–0.86)) and the CRP level (0.74 (95% CI, 0.65–0.84)).
