The results showed that an AFP level greater than 400 ng/mL (p = 0.011), tumor size greater than 5 cm (p = 0.004), late-stage HCC (p = 0.007), HCC with vascular invasion (p = 0.001), HCC with metastasis (p = 0.024) and high expression of CD133 (p = 0.001) were associated with decreased OS time.
