Multiple sEH enzymatic indices were found higher in NASH-HIS, compared to NASH-CAU, including 12,13-DiHOME/12(13)-EpOME; 9,10-DiHOME/9(10)-EpOME; 17_18-DiHETE/17(18)-EpETE along with higher levels of the vicinal diol, 14,15-DiHETrE. Here, EPHX2 is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
