To obtain further insight into the epigenetic basis of the transgenerationally transmittable predisposition to diet-induced obesity after gestational exposure to TBT, our current study employed the OG2 transgenic mouse line in which prenatal germline cells specifically express EGFP, allowing efficient separation of germline cells and somatic cells in total testicular cell population. The gene discussed is NOBOX; the disease is obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
