These findings agree with studies on colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, in which the knockout of C1GALT1 in cancer cells significantly induced Tn-antigen expression and subsequently enhanced cell proliferation, adhesion, as well as migration and invasiveness [11,17,18]. This evidence concerns the gene C1GALT1 and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
