C9 and myeloid sarcoma: A total of 16% (95% CI: 9%, 39%) of plasma C9 level variability was jointly explained by two MS-risk SNPs, i.e., rs2104286 and rs1610555; their effect sizes have been estimated, respectively, as 0.61 (95% CI: 0.32, 0.90) and 0.32 (95% CI: 0.08, 0.56) HC SD, meaning that a single effect allele (the minor allele) was associated with an average increase of 0.61/0.32 HC SD, controlling for sex, age, kinship effect, shared environment effect, and the other SNPs included in the multivariable model.
