In two multivariate binary logistic regression models including all variables found to be predictive in univariate analysis, CPK levels were independently associated with a higher risk of AKI (CPK ≥ 1000 (OR 1.6, 95% CI 1.1–2.2; p = 0.01) and CPK ≥ 5000 (OR 2.8, 95% CI 1.4–5.6; p = 0.004), Table 3).
