They received prophylactic recombinant coagulation factor VIII treatment as a baseline treatment for severe hemophilia, with three patients receiving short-acting simoctocog alfa (Nuwiq®) treatment (20–40 IU/kg) three days a week, two patients receiving long-acting efraloctocog alfa (Eloctate®) treatment (55–65 IU/kg) every five days, and two patients receiving long-acting rurioctocog alfa pegol (Adynovate®) treatment (40–50 IU/kg) twice weekly. This evidence concerns the gene F8 and hemophilia.
