ATRX and cancer: Finally, the NGS platform used here included 70 ‘pan-cancer’-related genes, yet excluded a number of genes commonly altered in WdNETs, such as MUTYH, ATRX, DAXX and MEN1; a WdNET-specific gene panel, developed on the basis of more recent NGS data from large NEN datasets, may allow for the increased sensitivity of ctDNA detection in these patients.
