Kim et al. described loss of nuclear SSBP2 expression in correlation with poor prognostic factors, such as larger tumor size, higher World Health Organization/International Society of Urological Pathology histological grade, tumor necrosis, sarcomatoid change, and higher pT stage, and noted it was associated with worse RFS in clear cell renal cell carcinoma [16]. Here, SSBP2 is linked to clear cell renal carcinoma.
