NR4A1 and microphthalmia with limb anomalies: Although MLA and CCC both exhibit eosinophilic intraluminal substances, lack of hormonal receptor expression, and wild-type p53 immunostaining pattern, characteristic histological features of CCC (abundant, clear-to-eosinophilic cytoplasm; distinct cell border; enlarged, pleomorphic nuclei with prominent nucleoli; and hyalinized or myxoid stroma) help to distinguish it from MLA [4,47].
