Based on the data in the literature, in the present study, we used a model of colitis induced by dinitrobenzenesulphonic acid (DNBS) to evaluate the effects of the fungus CV on the regulation of inflammatory processes and oxidative stress and in particular the modulation of Toll-like receptors 4 (TLR4) and nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2/heme oxygenase 1 (Nrf2/HO-1) pathway. Here, TLR4 is linked to colitis.
