The same trend was observed when hospitalized patients were compared to non-hospitalized COVID-19 patients: 7.1% (4.7–10.5) vs. 5% (2.9–8) (p = 0.001 for CD4+, Figure 3H) and 20.4% (11.9–27.6) vs. 14.1% (7.9–22.6), (p = 0.012 for CD8+, Figure 3O). Here, CD4 is linked to COVID-19.
