THBD and thrombophilia: Consequently, the ratio of factor VIII/protein C, also taken as an index of hypercoagulability, increased from steatosis (0.96, (0.36–1.60)) or NASH to metabolic cirrhosis (2.05, (0.81–12.1)), p < 0.001 and was correlated with the ETP-TM ratio (rho = 0.543, p < 0.001).
