We found that FAM65A expression levels in tumor tissue of cholangio carcinoma (CHOL), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PCPG) and stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) are higher than the corresponding normal tissue based on TCGA dataset (Fig. 1a). This evidence concerns the gene RIPOR1 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
