We found that FAM65A expression levels in tumor tissue of cholangio carcinoma (CHOL), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PCPG) and stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) are higher than the corresponding normal tissue based on TCGA dataset (Fig. 1a). The gene discussed is RIPOR1; the disease is pheochromocytoma.
