Alternatively, T-cell secretion of IL-10 induced by B. safensis might be indicative of a regulatory T cell phenotype activated by STAT3 pathway in early stages of CTCL, thus allowing T cell expansion owing to immune evasion (Abraham et al., 2011; Krejsgaard et al., 2017).
