Sulforaphane also decreased the levels of IFNB and CXCL10, while increasing NQO1, following the transfection of differentiated human THP1 cells with the activator of stimulator of IFN genes (STING) 2′3′-cGAMP, which is produced from ATP and GTP in response to the detection of cytoplasmic DNA, such as during viral infection (Figure S7C).
