However, on multivariate analysis, CAT in female patients was only significantly associated with moderate Agatston score after adjusting for age and BMI (OR 1.94, 95% CI 1.09–3.45, P = 0.024), and after full adjustment (age, BMI, hypertension, and HDL) (OR 1.80, 95% CI 1.00–3.22, P = 0.048).
