On multivariable analysis, after adjusting for the parameters that affect CAT, female (OR 1.68, 95% CI 1.30–2.17, P < 0.001), age (OR 1.02, 95% CI 1.01–1.03, P = 0.001), and hypertension (OR 1.35, 95% CI 1.04–1.75, P = 0.024) remained significantly associated with CAT (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene CAT and hypertensive disorder.
