In this study, circSETD3 in NPC and resistant cells was changed via transfection and DDP induction in NPC DDP drug-resistant cells, informing that circSETD3 facilitates NPC proliferation and DDP resistance but represses apoptosis via activation of AKT/mTOR pathway and being as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) of miR-147a. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
